When booking a country pod or purchasing or using our gift card, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Changes to these terms may occur without prior notice.

Booking & Payment

Shillelagh Country Pods is an adult only glamping facility. We allow a maximum of 2 people per pod and only pod guests are permitted in the private surrounding area. No pets allowed. Bookings are made online and payment is to be made in full on booking.

Gift Cards

Our gift card can only be redeemed for booking our country pods through this website, https://shillelaghcountrypods.com.

  • Single-use: The full amount of this gift card must be spent in a single transaction. Remaining balances cannot be carried forward.
  • No expiry date: Unless prohibited by law, this gift card does not have an expiry date.
  • Non-Refundable: This gift card is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
  • Lost cards: We are not responsible for lost e-mails or codes. These will not be replaced or refunded.
  • Fraud prevention: We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or hold for review any card transaction suspected of fraudulent activity.


Self check-in after 3pm and check-out before 11am. Luggage may be dropped into the main house upon early arrival. There is no option for late check-out. You will receive a text message from us on the morning of your booking with check-in details.


Cancellations will only be accepted if a minimum of 14 days notice is given. Free rescheduling up to 1 week before scheduled date of stay by contacting us at info@shillelaghcountrypods.com.

We are relieved of any liability should, due to circumstances beyond our control, the pod becomes unavailable or unsuitable for letting. Any money paid will be reimbursed in full and the booking will be cancelled.

Our pods

The pods are cleaned and all linen and towels are changed between lettings, and weekly for longer letting periods. A cleaning charge of 75 euros will apply if the accommodation is not left in the same tidy condition as it was upon check-in.


All guests are responsible for keeping the communal facilities and area around the pods in a tidy condition and reporting any breakages etc. We reserve the right to levy a cleaning charge if anything is left in a particularly poor condition, such as breakages, spillages, linen damage, etc.

We ask that any noise outside of the pod, i.e. music, ends by 11pm on weekdays and all guests are asked to respect this. We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests exhibiting unacceptable or antisocial behaviour, under which circumstances no reimbursement of booking charges will be due.

Jacuzzi & sauna

Our jacuzzies and saunas are prepared to the highest standard before your arrival. Strictly all topical products, such as make-up and false tan, must be removed before entering the jacuzzi. Additional information is given on the day of your check-in and must be adhered to.


The pods are strictly non-smoking and no pets are allowed. Any evidence to suggest that there has been smoking in the pod will lead to additional cleaning charges. Smoking is permitted in the outdoor designated area only.


We will not accept any liability for any damage to or loss of any personal belongings while on site. Any complaints must be made during the stay in order to give us the opportunity to rectify any problems.
